ZARA LARSSON – SO GOOD

Is it too early to say this has a secure place in my top 5 favourite albums of 2017?

Zara Larsson released her second studio album So Good on Friday, two months later than the original release date. We’ve all heard the phrase ‘better late than never’ and believe me when I say it truly was worth the wait.

The album starts with ‘What They Say’ –  the perfect transition song from Zara’s debut studio albumto now. This is followed by a set of Zara’s well known singles; ‘Lush Life’ – easily the song of the summer for both 2015 and 2016, ‘I Would Like’ – a 10/10 track through and through, and ‘So Good’, which really is so damn good. Pun intended.

Other notable tracks on the album include fan favourites ‘Only You’, ‘Don’t Let Me Be Yours’, and ‘I Can’t Fall In Love Without You’.

The album ends with ‘Symphony’, Clean Bandit’s latest collaboration. On first listen this song wasn’t what I was expecting taking into consideration Larsson’s previous singles, but trust me when I say this one is a grower.

Modern pop anthems, unapologetic song lyrics, and girl power. So Good is the perfect album for 2017. Let us know what you think of the album by tweeting us @wearenelipott.

So Good is out now. You can find Zara playing a one off London show on Wednesday June 7th at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. Tickets can be found at livenation.co.uk
